Peach glazed-Oven baked chicken

Ingredients:

  • one each whole fryer cut into eight pieces
  • 18oz jar store brand peach preserves
  • 8oz jar bottle of russian dressing
  • one envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 1 Tbs. garlic powder or a clove of crushed fresh garlic

Instructions and Comments:

Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Place fryer parts into a baking dish with lots space between cuts. Pour the marinade over the chicken ,bake for 45 mins. or until theintenral temperature reaches 165 degrees. At this time baste the chicken one time covering all of the chicken cuts. Turn up the oven to 500 degrees for 10 minutes, or until sauce is carmelized on the chicken.
Once the chicken is nice and brown, serve and enjoy!!

I know that this is a very simple and fast, short cut recipe but it is sooooooooo Good.

You can take the time to make a homemade French Dressing and Use your own Peach preserves, even cut out the onion soup mix and add your own onions with a beef stock, fresh crushed garlic, salt and pepper but this recipe will get you to a fine tasting chicken much, much, faster!!
