Ingredients:
- 1 Tbs. Olive oil
- 1 each Onions, small dice
- 2 each Garlic cloves, minced
- 6 each Tomato Diced
- 2 cup Tomato puree
- 1/4 cup Basil, fresh, chopped
- 1/2 Tbs. Oregano, fresh, chopped
- to taste Red pepper flakes
- to taste Salt and Pepper
Instructions and Comments:
PRE-PREPARATION
1. Sweat the onions in the olive oil until they are translucent.
2. Add the garlic and saute it until the aroma is apparent.
3. Add the diced tomato, tomato puree, and the oregano to the onions.
4. Simmer the mixture to acheive a heavy consistancy.
5. Add basil and red pepper flakes and season to taste.
