Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 Lbs. Raw and peeled shrimp.
- 1 lb ground pork or turkey [healthful or NOT]
- 1 pint 1/2 and 1/2
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup garlic
- 1/2 soy sauce
- 3 each large eggs
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch dissolved in a 1/4 cup of water
- 1 small bunch green onion
Instructions and Comments:
This dish goes together as quick as you can add the ingrediants, once you've cooked the pork, it's important to NOT brown the pork.
Heat a large frying pan or wok to real hot!!
Throw in the garlic and stir. In the Orient this is called "Opening up the Wok".
Add the cup of water; when it boils, throw in the pork, cook 'till the pork turns white, remember, do not brown the pork.
Add the 1/2 and 1/2, bring to boil, add the shrimps, bring back to a boil.
Cook shrimps to pink in color.
Add the cornstarch, Soy Sauce, thicken and after all is done, crack eggs and stir in the eggs, this causes the dish to gain it's unique "Richness".
Let set for a couple of minutes while you chop the green onion for a nice "Garnish".
This dish is best enjoyed over a bed of steamed white rice...
Cooking time, from "can to can't", is a total of ten minutes>>>.... it takes longer to prepare this dish than it takes to eat it,....... ha, ha.
Enjoy
