Cajun Blackening Spice

    Ingredients:
  • Ground Black Pepper 1 Tbsp
  • Ground Cumin 1 Tbsp
  • Ground Coriander 1 Tbsp
  • Paprika 2 teaspoon
  • Granulated Garlic 1 Tbsp
  • Onion Powder 1.5 teaspoon
  • Mustard Powder 2 teaspoon
  • Cayenne Pepper 1 Tbsp
  • Dried Thyme 1 Tbsp
  • Dried Mexican Oregano 2 teaspoon
  • Kosher Salt 1 Tbsp
    Method for Spice Madness:
  • Combine all ingredients and keep in an air tight container.
    Common Uses and other info:
  • Coat seafood, meats, and chicken with this spice mix, and cook in a well seasoned cast iron skillet. The Skillet should be hotter than the red plannet, add just a little oil and then the meat. Sear on both sides. For bigger cuts of meat, sear the meat then place it in an oven to finish cooking.
